And he has clocked up some impressive career highlights which include representing Great Britain at the Tokyo Paralympics.

In 2022, Louis won a silver medal at the World Boccia Challenger in Veldhoven. Selected for the 2022 World Championships in Rio, the hard work started to pay off for Louis when he reached the last 16, defeating world number 5 Davor Komar of Croatia 5-3 before a tight 4-3 victory over Germany’s Boris Nicolai, ranked world number 10.

He also represented Great Britain at the first-ever European Para Championships and described the new multi sport event as a “positive step forward for Paralympic sport.”

In 2024, Louis secured his first ever international gold at the Lahti Challenger in Finland.

He was introduced to boccia by his teacher, Miss Webb, at Angmering School:

“I instantly fell in love with it and have never stopped playing since because I have always been really competitive and I knew this was an opportunity for me to excel. I was so lucky to attend a school that has a long history with boccia and they have been incredibly supportive.”

He is currently studying at the University of Sussex. Louis once appeared on Blue Peter and has a cat called Stitch.
